DESCRIPTION:In this class, Master Food Preserver Cinda, will share her extensive experience with pressure canning  so that you can learn safe techniques and dispel the fear of an exploding pot. During an informative presentation, Cinda will give you specifics of safe techniques so you can pressure can low-acid foods including chicken, beans and chicken stock.\nWe will also have time in the kitchen for the hands-on portion where you will be guided in the pressure canning process while we make two different products. Each person attending will take home and enjoy a some of what they helped make.\nEach class is limited to 6 participants. Please plan to pay ($75/person, cash, check or charge) when you arrive at the class. Bring your own apron or use one of ours. Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.\n \n
